Screw the anti-movement. Anyone who thinks this situation has anything to do with SOC is as dense as they come.

We should do it to show we care about life over football, because it's true. It's active support which shows we aren't numb to the situation.

The general public are idiots, and SOC is a public entity so a crisis statement is necessary.

I've been on the phone and on chat with Marty since early this morning. Yes, banner, blackout, food drive... everything is cancelled for this game. We are just fans going to a game to support our players.

Good move. 100% agree.

Boise_Chief 12-01-2012 11:23 AM

I think there should be a banner. Something simple like the mentioned

"Our prayers are with the families, SOC"

Is there time to make a change?

Either way, we agree. Your reason is more practical, mine sentimental. They both end in the same result. I want to hear some chatter from the other side of things.

Boise_Chief 12-01-2012 11:25 AM

ehh maybe remove the soc at the end.

I like this too. Honestly, I think silence is respectful, but actively putting a banner out there to show support would be cool. It would basically show that we support them through issues that are greater than football.

Not possible. It takes time to get the banners put together and there is not enough of it to make a new banner.

In saying that, this could stop SOC in its tracks to after this are road games and the final home game is Indy.

You might call and ask him, it should only take a couple of hours to put one together and he's a Chiefs Fan he might do it.

I was just going to suggest flying a banner in remembrance of Jovan Belcher.

Jovan Belcher 59 You will be missed...

Thoughts?
