I blocked that URL but that doesn't usually work, I am searching for the specific ad to block it now.

I always access the site via iPhone 5c with no issues. But I'm accessing via a laptop for the first time in a very long time and, holy ****, the popups and redirects. Some Roxblox fighting game shit, a "PC repair live help" window which if clicked upon would probably result in me waking up in a tub full of ice missing a kidney, some bullshit "survey", FanDuel...

If you are getting redirects that may be the Google issue, if you are getting popups than it is FAR more likely that you have malware on that machine. Plenty of malware "triggers" off certain ads and/or sites. Get Malwarebytes and run a scan then come back to the site. If you still have issues, post here so I can see if we still have a Google problem.

I'm still hammering Google on the issue and doing what I can to address it.

On a likely unrelated note. I think Google screwed up something today because I just went into our ad control panel and for some reason today's earnings are off the charts. I mean CRAZY off the charts. Like if this was the new normal the server would pay for itself 4 times over. All the numbers for page views and clicks are in the proper range but apparently the CPC (cost per click) is off the charts. I'm 99% sure they will go back and correct it but for today at least, clicking on ads is actually worth it!

Understandable, I will give a heads up here when I get word back from Google on this. In the meantime, I'm still sorting thru a bazillion ads trying to find the bad ones to block.

Ok, it looks like the softwareupdater thing is malware and not a hijacked ad.

If you are wondering why it only shows up on CP, it is likely that it is keying off from ads we display that you aren't getting on other sites. if you went to a ton of other Chiefs forums that used Google Adsense than you'd likely see the problem there as well.

Can someone who is having the issue try this and tell me how it goes?

Turned ablock off. The autoplay ads havent stopped. If you stay on a page for more than 2 minutes or so, it starts.
