Don't you think it will tome down some when the season starts. The NFL doesn't want a 5 and a half hour flag fest every game. Or does it?

I think they'll have to. They're trying so hard to cater to this nonexistent idea of a casual "fan" who wants teams to throw the ball for 500 times a game. That may be all nice and shiny, but nobody wants to see 30 flags a game.

Only because defensive coordinators capitulate and decide to play their corners and nickels 10+ yards off the LOS and concede yards all the way up the EZ.

As one of those true NFL fans this is the first season I'm not even excited about opening weekend,oh I'll watch but purely from an entertainment point of view.
