CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora reports free agent Brandon Lloyd "does not intend to play football."
Lloyd, 32, appears to be hanging up the cleats. He didn't receive an ounce of interest after being released by the Patriots on March 16. If this is it for Lloyd, he finishes his career with 385 catches for 5,695 yards and 35 touchdowns. He played for six different teams in ten seasons, making one Pro Bowl.

I think he's highly underrated

Only because of himself. He was a self made implosion. After every good season he had, he imploded. very much like T.O. personality wise. Could of easily been a 10 year top 15 receiver in the league.

What? He's giving up football just because no one will put him on a team? Quitter.

Lloyd was a hell of an athlete at BS, played QB ran track. His older brother was the QB before him there. Fun times.

Too bad he's done, was hoping chiefs would try him out but i guess sucking with the pats did him in

Nearly every guy in the NFL was probably the star athlete in High School. The talent it takes just to get to that level is amazing.
