Albert is gone. Anyone with a brain realizes this. Whomever is going to give up the 2nd rounder is probably just waiting until they get closer to the draft to make a trade.

Lol, he's getting the $10M regardless. Now it's about staying healthy so he can sign a long-term contract somewhere. Cause you know, everyone should risk $30+ million contracts just to be with the team. :thumb:

Well I meant between agents, taxes, lawyers, etc. Can't blame a guy for wanting to limit the chances of him getting hurt in a voluntary program. To must of us the money is a lot, but we have never been on the cusp of earning 40 million over five years either.

If there is in fact a trade in the works and Albert is being deliberately held out of practice then one would assume he is in the process of working out a new contract with the new team.
