****ing disgusting. But why are all these Louisville players crying? They've never had someone get hurt and leave a game before?

I must have overlooked that part then. I didn't see any bone; just the initial break.

It was after the initial break. He lifted his leg while laying down. Bone sticking straight out.

I'm going to guess most of them haven't seen an open fx of the tin/fib. That had to make noise too.
I've seen plenty, the sound doesn't bother me, but the way the leg angulates is something your brain isn't used to processing.

OMG.... ****...

Glad I stepped away for a few minutes and didn't see that. I remember that same thing happening to Prothro at Alabama. Hopefully he can recover from it better than he did.

I would think it would be freaking emotional. The game pressure is intense and the emotion of seeing such a graphic injury would make one's feelings very raw.

I don't blame them.

BourbonMan 03-31-2013 03:53 PM

That was just plain NASTY...Feel sorry for him...career is over.

That would be nice, but I'm not sure pins and plates will be out of that leg for years to come... I pray he just focuses on his education 10000% and just plays the sport he loves for recreation and coaches kids and teams for many years to come...

Saw some pictures on Twitter. You can tell it was gruesome by the reaction of the Louisville bench. Sad.

They aren't coming out. He'll have a lot of rehab but he should be able to play again.

Didn't see what happened, but I assumed a Duke player flopped and fell on his leg?

Don't watch this unless you want to see. Reading on twitter the bench players were puking afterward...
