Yep, but I was skeptical that they'd have a second season even absent those problems.

I would say Justified, Terriers, Battlestar Galactica and Six Feet Under. Also, if you enjoyed the dialogue of Deadwood, you might like Luck. Like Terriers, it only lasted one season, and I don't think there was much of a following for Luck, but I love the worlds Milch creates and was sad to see it go.

Anyone ever see Milchs show right after Deadwood on HBO. John From Cincinnati. About a surfing family in Cali. It was pretty weird at times and only lasted 1 season.

John From Cincinnati is the reason they killed Deadwood, is it not?

Another +1 for The Shield Here- I liked it better than the wire -but they're different

Also +1 for the League So funny

I will have to check out Justified and Deadwood as well

Also The Wire is on HBO GO if you have access to that for those interested

Go out and purchase Game of Thrones immediately.

Californication and The Shield are also worth your time.

West Wing.

Oh, Wow! Add Arrested Development and Freaks and Geeks to your list as well, they are both among the best comedies of all time, imo.

(If you really have time, I would also recommend starting from Season 2 of Parks and Rec and The Office)

Rain Man 01-08-2013 11:37 PM

I've never seen a single episode of any of the shows in the OP other than Archer. I liked Archer, so I vote for it.

Rome, Spartacus, House, Sherlock

If you liked that check out Frisky Dingo. They only made a few seasons but its by the same guy so the humor is much the same. It was made before Archer so its a little less polished.

Outside of the TNT shows I have never liked non-network shows. I've tried to watch several of them and they just never entertain me.

Ive heard that, but i have no idea? Whatever the case, its kind of strange they killed Deadwood then went directly into that.

I'm not an avid TV watcher and I just don't have the patience for TV dramas...
