I'm awaiting (and a'waiting...) the chemo bags from the pharmacy so I thought I'd get on here and make a post. Looking at my schedule, it seems that Jan. 17th, a Saturday, would be a good day for me to get out and go to a local favorite of mine, Barley's Brewhaus, located at 119th and Quivira in Overland Park. Are any CP members in the general vicinity up for meeting for some brews? I've only met one of you in person so far, so who else wants to meet my cancer-ridden self? How about around 5 pm?

As it stands, I now work Weds-Sun, so there's little chance for me to get away, but I'm there in spirit!!

hell, that's right down the road from me. I'm going to a motorcycle show that day, but usually home early afternoon. what time you thinking of swinging by there?

I'm going to try and make it. It's over a 3 hour drive for me though, so I can't fully commit just yet.

I can't afford a plane ticket right now.

Ed, I live in Liberty, so it's a bit of a drive, but I grew up walking distance from there, and like that place alot. I'm gonna try to get out there to meet ya.

Do they still have Moose Drool on tap at the Grand Saloon? I had a tasty buffalo burger there back in '04, too.
