Improve it? You serious? You think Ford was picked to go along side Hali and Houston? He was drafted to replace one of them you dipshit.

Just like Fisher wasn't drafted to go along side Albert. He was drafted to replace Albert.

While i agree with the premise, he still needs to learn NFL pass rushing techniques first and foremost for this season. They are trying to have him learn so much stuff he is probably going to be worthless this year.

Hali this year, Ford next.

Depending on how much Houston thinks he's worth, it could be Hali and Ford next year.

Most likely outcome. Dorsey will have to invest another high pick in a pass rusher next season unless they plan on scrapping the 3-4 entirely.

Dorsey is going to have to invest in a WR, CB, OT, OG, NT, FS and MLB as well.

The guy hasn't filled the roster very well where it needed to be filled. We've got some really shitty players at a lot of spots and not a lot of depth anywhere (except RB).

Josh Martin looks better than Dee Ford right now. I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing, but it's the truth.

TE is pretty solid for us. So is the DL and LB group.

That's what i'm worried about.

They are trying to make Ford into a stand up LB so he can replace Houston.

Dee ford is dwight freeney-ish, not justin Houston

Meh, he has the athletic skill to become an OLB.

If Hali can transition, so can Ford.

Hali didn't transition to a standing LB

He's a RDE that falls into coverage a few times a game for a zone blitz.

Ford should be groom to be a 3-4 Rushbacker/RDE like Hali.

Not a 3-4 LOLB, like Houston, who plays in a lot of space.

jmo

You may as well try to develop his pass-coverage skills. Think of the scheme versatility you acquire with two Houstons rather than Houston + Hali. It frees you up to bring more DJ/Berry/Defensive Back blitz packages and keeps the protection guessing.

I love how when Ford gave his "I'm better than Clowney" interview in February, he referred to Clowney as a blind dog running through a meat market, or something like that. LMAO

Hali spends more time in a 3 point stance?

He didnt become a true 3 down OLB?

Hmmm...
