Tell me what you know about the Apple Watch. What do you like about them, and what model/size of screen do you recommend?


I am tired of pulling my phone out to see who's calling, or changing the channel for TuneIn while I work. I am a wood floor guy that does some occasional pilot service for people on the side. Is the watch durable, or will it get destroyed out in the wild.

Buddy of mine is the CEO of the coop and uses the cap out of his. It’s whatever model was newest in the spring. He gets enough mileage out of his that I’ve considered one even though I’m pretty sure it would get destroyed in “my” wild. He’s not laying wood but he’s out and about most of the day. I’d bet it would work for you.

They are kind of... cool. As are a lot of the new smart wearables.

But the price is ridiculous. Find one on FB market or some discount. Because new, they are simply not worth the MSRP. Especially after Christmas when students sell their gifts for money (and claim it was stolen from the dorm) and in May when school ends and students don't have money to drink. ("Really mom, it was stolen from my dorm room")

I need a $300 watch because reaching in my pocket to get my $800 smartphone is just too time consuming sometimes. :D
