no one can really answer that. but i would assume some local store will have a copy you can pick up that day. or if you want you can pick it up at the midnight releases

For Windows, definitely -- I don't know many retailers that keep a good current line of Mac games. CompUSA used to be the place to go for apple games.
You'd think this game would be doing some sort of digital distribution. I pre-ordered Starcraft II and downloaded the game launch day.

blizzard is selling a digital copy. from there site for 59 bucks. not worth full price if it doesn't come with the disks an box. it is cheaper for them to make should be cheaper to buy

Blizzard discs are usually Hybrid or whatever the hell you wanna call it. It should have both versions.

I'm playing the beta now. It's a lot of fun. I think my machine might not quite be up to par to play it though. Lots of lagging. I'm playing a monk.

I have no idea. I am playing WoW and got the beta to the expansion for that as well. Maybe because I'm on a mac. :shrug:

I did the WoW annual pass promotion Blizz was/is promoting basically sign up for WoW annual pass and get digital copy of Diablo for free.

Cheaper to make? How much cheaper should the game be minus a paperbox and jewel case? $5?
This game will be worth full price no matter the distribution.
But I typically prefer a physical copy of my media.

i don't know how much cheaper. but for years game company's said the price for games was so high because it cost so much to package the games. it just the principle of the matter.there should be some kinda discount to buy it digital
