Marty Mac is possibly the biggest 'fly under the radar' talent CP has ever seen.
Talk about materializing on shit!

Does anybody else find it to be absolutely pathetic that the Chiefs have all of these non-profits by the balls to the point they refuse food? It's just food. We want to help.

This is turning into a logistical nightmare. :shake: But, I don't blame the charities.

I don't blame them either. But it's pretty disappointing that this organization has so much political clout.

That is the sad part.

This time of year they all want/need the donations and are scared to take it because of the organization...

someone needs to inform Clark of this and he NEEDS to make it clear that the chiefs wouldn't hold it against a charity for taking the food.

This is a fantastic idea. Good job guys!

Also can't you donate the food anonymously?

Sure. Who is going to take it to them?

Hopefully the media machine will pick up and run with this point.

should we do a convenient drop off location for any cans from people who can't go to the game?

might a PITA though; could turn into a lot of weight.

Apologies if this is already answered in the thread, or elsewhere in SOC-land, but will there be a way for people who can't attend in person to "virtually" donate? I would be happy to send SOC some money to buy some cans on my behalf.

You'll notice these stickies get less traffic. They do the opposite of what they were designed to do.

We're going to incur some expense, parking, fuel, printing, etc. Yes, please paypal saveourchiefs@cox.net some mon-ays to help cover those.

BossChief 11-29-2012 03:49 AM

What about the red cross?

Wouldn't they find a way to get the food to the east coast?...or would that not be cost effective to transport that much canned goods that far?
