Semi-Final Game - lineup question
Ok, so I'm battling to advance to the title game. PPR league, bonus of 5 for > 100 yards rushing, receiving and 300 passing.
QBs - Rivers @ KC or Newton vs Packers ... I've been starting Rivers for a month and it has paid off, very consistent. RBs - Fournette vs Texans, D Freeman @ Bucs or Alex Collins @ CLE ... WRs - I'm starting Michael Thomas and Adam Theilen... have D Adams @ Panthers or Tyreek Hill vs LAC I could start 3 RB and 2 WR. Thoughts? |
Rivers has been white hot and Cam can be streaky. Stick with Rivers.
Collins against the Browns is a no brainer. I'd go DeVante Adams over Tyreek this week. LAC have a fierce pass rush and Alex can get happy feet. |
Almost 1100 yards passing and 6 td's in 3 weeks, yes I'd stay with Rivers plus in week 3 he passed for 237 with 3 INT's against KC and the odds are favorable that won't be happening again.
I've been doing a little research on division games and more times than not if a player has a shitty or so-so game the first time around or vice versa the result is the opposite the next game. Example 1 Alex Smith @ Raiders week 7 342 yds,3 tds,no INT's vs. Raiders week 14 268 yds,no td's 1 INT Example 2 Big Ben @ Ravens week 4 216 yards 1 td 1 INT vs. Ravens week 14 506 yds,2 td's no INT's Just using these 2 players as they're my fantasy QB's but I've been fairly successful when using this theory in FF when my players have divisional games.Granted,it's not 100% but when it comes to gambling any edge is a good edge. BTW,I like the idea of starting all 3 of your rb's although my theory bodes well for Collins and not so much for Fournette. Good luck. |
Ouch

Kept Rivers on the bench - thankfully, but I also didn't start Hill. Good thing is, he didn't blow up in a manner that can't be replaced by the other 3. I would have likely benched Adams in favor of Hill, so he's the one I need to step up.

Paid off ... was down 8.9 before MNF, Freeman finally had a great game vs Tampa.
