Andy Reid
So I'm curious as to what the general consensus is here at CP when it comes to Andy Reid's coaching ability. So I'm putting up a big long thick pole. On a scale of 1-10 with 1 being the worst and 10 being the best where do you put Coach Reid?

He can put clown shoes on the greatest only to turn around and lose to a lame duck coach after taking an 18 point lead.
There is no scale they can quantify Andy. |
Win a Sb or two and he's a top 5 all time coach.
He's got some issues, just like all of them though. |
Excels in every area but putting your foot on the throat and clock management.

Andy is 1-7 in the last 8 playoff games. Other than that he has flaws but is he has the record of an upper echelon coach. Other coaches wouldn’t be copying his plays if he wasn’t good at drawing up an offense. It’s just losing games when he gets up big and in the playoffs that is maddening and diminishes his stature. But it looks like Mahomes was the missing ingredient so here’s hoping he’s the guy to take us to the promised land. |
Talk to me after the playoffs

7.

Gave a 7. Win a SB and that goes up!

If Mahomes is who we think he is Andy Reid will go down as an all time great.
|
If he wins a Super Bowl with the Chiefs, he’ll have a statue outside of Arrowhead.
|
Similar to the analogy I made with Sutton, Andy is a heckuva watchmaker.
We'll have to see how the players respond if the time comes we need a sledgehammer instead of a clockwork. The time management [ironically] and game rhythm [adjustment] problems still lurk, but the creativity and [pre]game planning is still top notch. |

I rate him as a 10. I love this guy. We got #3 off of him.
|
Only thing keeping him from a 10 in my eyes is the lack of a Super Bowl win.
Let’s just say he’ll be a 10 pretty soon. |
