Luke Hochevar is seriously the most mentally fragile pitcher in the majors. **** him and his meltdowns.

Canofbier 09-06-2012 07:33 PM

Man, every so often, the Royals play-by-play guys find some completely dumb random thing to talk about for a half inning. I love it.

Perez guns his ass DOWN

I stand by what I said a while back about him and Cassel.

Herrerra bails out Ned and Hoch there.

I pegged Hoch as a bust in 07, I caught A LOT of heat for it.. I was right. The guy was a turd from the start.

To be fair, you think pretty much everyone on the team is terrible. So you're going to be right 90% of the time.

Why are there no more game threads?

Nightfyre 09-06-2012 08:13 PM

Personally, I don't feel like making one. But if someone were to start creating them again, I would post there.

Nightfyre 09-06-2012 08:14 PM

Also, Hos with the bomb! TEHHOS.

****ing Rangers broadcasters are dumb as a box of rocks much like their fans. I almost can't wait for the playoffs so I can watch Texas choke away another championship to another team with less talent.

SPchief 09-06-2012 08:43 PM

HOLY SHIT HOZ

TLO 09-06-2012 09:08 PM

Holland with the pitch up.

PunkinDrublic 09-06-2012 09:12 PM

I hate seeing all those Ranger fans in our stands. ****ing bandwagon twats.

Serious question... if he can't keep from blowing his arm out twice and needing Tommy John pitching one inning a few times a week do you really think pitching longer/more is going to work?

Because at this point longevity of his career for the team means absolutely nothing. Maximize value/production. If he gets hurt, who cares?

Set-up men, even really good ones, aren't that hard to find; viable starters are.

Finally, relievers are up and throwing quite a bit, so it's not like this is a low-stress situation physically. Going to a set, five-day schedule might, ironically enough, help to preserve his career.
