Because I'm pretty sure he did. But obviously Mahomes elevated the offense and he put more yards.
Kelce is the GOAT and I think it can be debated, but Kelce has the rings, the stats, like double the number of 1K+ yard plus seasons than Tony G, the playoff stats. I think a better debate would be who is the 2nd best, Tony G or Gronk.

I humbly disagree, but I can understand your vision/point. I personally think longevity also plays a role in being a GOAT. Gonzalez was still playing during a period of time where there was still an old school approach to football and 4k passers were the 5k passers of 2020+.
Kelce has the better single season stats, but Gonzalez has the edge IMO due to again, longevity.
It's sort've why I never viewed Gronk as even a top 3 TE at the position. If I knew I was getting 15 years out of the guy, he would probably be my #1 picked TE, but when you're getting only X amount of years, there's better options. To me it's like Calvin Johnson, is he the GOAT? Nope, because he retired so early, but if he played or attempted to play as many seasons as Jerry Rice did, who knows?
