Okay, our research team just finished a major manuscript, that basically ate through my Memorial Day weekend, all of my free time over the last week, and a 6 hour meeting at Panera today. I also managed to mow my lawn yesterday for the first time in 4 weeks, so my neighbors only hate me with the intensity of 100 suns compared to 1000 the day before. I should be able to drop down to a 50 hour work week for most of the summer, which will mean this thing called "free time" will exist again in my life. That will allow me to work on Sandbox. I probably have about 40 hours of work to get the simulations ready to roll, but at least I will be making progress on it again.

One thing about it. I don't have time to visit every forum I normally frequent during the off months but CP is at the top regardless for visiting if nothing else to actually check on my favorite team. ;)



1st thing I check at the Sandbox site is if my team name has changed. If & when means the season's coming up. If it speeds things up, which I doubt, nm the name change. But if at all possible, after it's rolling I'd like the name changes' please.
The Fubarettes' have been picketing our brand new stadium for a while now. You Kansas City folks have probably been reading about it in the paper. We've tried to explain that we're moving the team but they seem to be using this as their platform to get out their weight loss program information.


The other team we plan to move in League 1, the Potheads, their fans don't have an idea what's going on so far. Problem is the team's website forum has a member who's username is Reinmenn & his investigative ways have the front office reeling.* The local sign company has started charging rent for all the Hellyans' team signs' as well as hush hush money. The league will be receiving an invoice for all back rent charges since this isn't something in our control.

With the upcoming holiday break, I am going to try to take some time to get the 2013 season ready for simulation in January. It is quite a bit of work, but I should have some chunks of free time to make this happened.

I offered up Leveon Bell for draft picks but um thinking I may wanna hold on to that dude. My receivers are hot garbage but I plan on addressing that on the next draft. I'm almost tanking this 2013 season by selling off older players for draft picks but it should set my team up for a long run of dominance in the future.

I swear I was thinking about this game a good portion of every day back when we were active.

I'll give up my spot in our CP $$ leagues' & funnel that $ to Sandbox when the time comes.

My excitement would build whenever I explained Sandbox to family or friends. Sure, there's fantasy but this is just SO much more fun.

It's hard to plan for the future when we don't know how it's gonna play out.

Our goal is to get the last season up and running soon. The rusty gears are starting to turn and we can hear the squealing of iron against iron.

Luckily silicon doesn't rust and electrons and holes moving around are relatively quiet.

However, I do look forward to hearing the whirl of the cooling fan once the heavy number crunching starts.

I don't need Jackson this season. I need him next season when he starts 15 games and gives me a viable starting RB with CJ Spiller doing almost nothing for the entire year.

Jackson isn't great but with Brady's resurgence he'll be just fine.

I dumped D'Qwell because I have absolutely zero need for him with Daryl Smith manning the middle.

We're waiting on some data that we buy from a supplier, so we're stuck until they send it. Hopefully soon.

Damn, I hadn't even considered that yet. There will be a crop of "buy low, re-sign reasonable" guys for this season. It's like this season's minigame within the game.

I was just coming in to give an update. We're going to be hiring a programming intern to help us get over the final hump and run the past seasons while we get ready to launch commercially. It's going to take a while to get that person hired and trained, though. So it's not over by any means, but we may end up doing a reboot. Our testers will still get their free league, though.
