Yeah my buddy, who you know lewdog, who is a huge Dbacks fan texted me tonight that although Goldy is a better player, you can't sit Hoz right now. I agree on both points. Wish Goldy could play 3rd base. Arenado is stinking up the place.

If you can catch Hosmer in the middle of one of his annual 15-20 game burners, there's not a player you take over him. Looks like, yet again, Hosmer is thriving in the big situations.

When you're talking about consistency over 162, i'd choose just about any first baseman over Eric Hosmer. But right now, no one can argue about playing Hos.

Well I was kinda off too because I didn't realize Stanton was being the DH and thought Goldie could have fit somewhere in the lineup. Just too many good players and Hosmer has earned it at first.

It's funny to read the comments in that blog with everyone bitching about Goldy not playing over Hoz, Stanton hitting 8th and USA needing to get a real manager.

All the while USA playing in WBC final for first time and leading in the 4th.
