It's nice to finally expect smart football moves.

I don't think there is a remote chance in hell that Bowe and Albert walk. Reid's going to need a solid, pro bowl level LT here. We have one. He's going to need a solid, athletic, nearly freakish receiver, we have one here. Bowe may drop a lot of passes because of whatever reason, be it him turning his head up the field, or Cassel throwing lame ducks at him, but you cannot deny the sheer talent the man possesses in his finesse, and ability to make catches that are inhuman.

Bowe is the only question.

Remember, in spite of the perception that Reid likes smaller quicker receivers, when he went all in to try to get over the top, he traded for Terrell Owens, and took a chance on his character issues.

Bowe is the same type of receiver, without the character issues.

I would bet that Reid makes a strong push to keep Bowe in KC.

As for Albert, he is exactly the type of LT that Reid likes.

No reason not to keep them in the fold.

I wonder how much the players influenced Hunt to make this hire, I wonder how much he actually talks to the players about how they feel about things?? Food for thought

The Eagles coveted Albert if memory serves.

The players loved Crennel and pushed for him to get the job last year.

Hopefully at least one of them. Or else we'll have 2 holes to address during the draft in addition to QB.

We lack depth and have some really weak starters in key positions.

If anything, the players might have influenced him to keep Romeo. That's all over. This is all Clark.

Yea but the player's have to be just as sick of what was going on as we were, I gurantee one more year with Cassel as qb and Bowe would have demanded a trade

DonkyPuncher 01-05-2013 09:03 PM

IMO the fact that Bowe hasn't really bitched about it yet says alot about him wanting to be here so I think he will still be a Chief

jd1020 01-05-2013 09:03 PM

He wouldn't have to demand a trade since he's going to be a UFA.

well now, I was talkin about the last few year's he has had to put up with shit qb's. If that were Owen's or Moss or anyone like that they would have thrown a fit with the lack of qb play

jd1020 01-05-2013 09:07 PM

You said "one more year."
