IIRC they had Dirty Dan around the LOS at times to help with that so Berry could make plays back deep. We have a great mix of safeties that Sutton can do multiples looks with. The run D has never been elite with this group but when you lose 2 starting DL and 3 LBs throughout the season, it'll suffer.

One thing that flew under the radar about Berry... against the Saints, Sorenson's pick-6 was a direct result of a play on the ball made by Berry. Those points ended up winning the game.

Being popular amongst players doesn't equate to fan recognition.

I bet most of us could name the starting QB and 2 of the biggest playmakers for each team

Ask yourself, can you name the top two defensive players from every football team? Berry doesn't get national recognition or exposure (articles, ESPN, commercials) like you dummies would like to believe.
