Is it okay to get a personalized jersey of a former player when the uniform has changed?

To be fair, Saleamua is/was a stud, and the uni's haven't changed "that much" but still. It's kinda weird seeing this IMO. The good thing is that when you go retro/throwback, the jersey will never die out. I would almost never get a jersey of a current player unless I knew that player was gonna retire a Chief and eventually be in the ROH...but that's just me. I still rock my Priest Holmes jersey.

Thoughts?

Bigger question, what position does Gorilla play?

What is the etiquette about wearing a jersey of a player that has been traded? I want to know if I am committing a jersey faux pas when I step outside with me Mariners jersey with Ichiro's number on it.

My step bro has a McCluster jersey. I told him it's gonna suck when we decide not to re-sign him. It was one of those Asian made triple stitched knockoffs from tara jersey.

No....because when it's all said and done he's going to be remembered for being a Mariner...not a Yankee..

I don't seen anything wrong with it. If that was his favorite player, I think it is kind of cool since he obviously couldn't find that jersey being made anymore.

My biggest pet peeve is when someone wears a jersey of a team not even playing in the stadium that day. Like a Yankee jersey at a Royals/Twins game.

I myself find jerseys itchy and irritable without a layer underneath.

I went with Okoye. The jerseys aren't that different.
