I picked up a DPMS Panther Oracle for around $700 last year. It's pretty bare bones, but I'm happy with it. I need to upgrade the rail and add a grip; then I could mount that Viridian laser on it.

Don't know. He showed them and they were impressive. One was a sniper rifle, scope was tiny compared to todays standard. His father in law brought them back with him in WWII. As is the M1. He has a japanese sword from WWII. Thats my favorite of his.

Mine was used. I like the grip, I have small hands though. I bought a Mossburg tactical a few weeks ago through Buds and didn't have to pay an FFL. Military discounts rule. Buds was hella fast with it, ordered on a Monday, picked it up two days later.

I don't think the grip is awful, but for $11 I'll give that slip on a shot and see if I like it better.

What made me giggle was when my fiances grandparents asked her what she wanted when their time came. She said the guns and nothing else.

I would too.

My fiance said she would buy me a glock come tax season. I probably should have recorded that, typed it and had it notarized.

BTW, is the recoil on the P95 as light as the reviews say?

**** Glock. I had one and got rid of it. I hate the double action trigger pull.

Yeah, hardly any IMO. Atleast compared to the other ones I've shot.

Dang, only $1300? I'm really tempted to get this as well.

I only paid $1100 for it brand new at a gun show a few weeks back. I sold my Bushmaster AR to make room for it. Even better huh? ;)

I've shot a few rounds off one and liked it. I'll take a day off and go to the range and try a few brands out. I need one that I can carry with me on duty. Just in case a department doesn't supply one.

Good. That was one of the things that swayed me toward that choice. I wanted something the wife would be comfortable shooting. I figure with a laser and a light-kicking gun even she won't be able to miss. :D

LMAO. My fiance loves the Ruger and she's 5' 110lbs. On a side note, she shoots big guns in the military.

Awesome. I've got a mental image of Bonnie Parker and her BAR. LMAO
