I still don't understand why the Browns didn't take Blackmon if they were going too draft Weeden. When you want your QB to adjust as quickly as possible, don't you think it's helpful to pair him with a WR that he has three years of chemistry with already?

Holmgren thought it was more important to get a power back for their WCO. A good running game does help a rookie QB as well. I don't disagree with the Blackmon idea, as I think both are viable options.

Josh Gordon only cost them a second rounder and he's been very productive as a rookie. They have some nice pieces in place for the next coaching staff and GM.
