It's REALLY hard to imagine how they are going to do this...

If it were me, I'd ease people into it by going with the Prelude and Forward books that cover the life of Hari Seldon. Much more accessible content.

Not sure how people will react to a series with no lasting main characters.

For those who don't know, the novels take place over hundreds of years.

Interesting. Seems like a chore to pull off. I wonder how many seasons that show would have to go?

And from the link, HBO is also adapting Westworld into a show/series.

Wasn't Roland Emmerich trying to get this on TV a few years ago? Thank god that never happened. It's a rough concept to imagine on any network for the reasons listed, but HBO would I think be the best choice.

Was once a time where this was my favorite series of books. Been a while since I read them, should probably remedy that one of these years.
