Are you prepping for winter?
 

Just curious if anyone else has been and what is your routine?

So far on the house:
Caulked, painted the exterior gaps and leak parts of the house.
Unhooked hoses.
Changed furnace filter, cleaned humidifier and changed filter and switched settings.

Vehicle:
Changed oil, air filter and plugs, checked fluids.
Built my sand bag frame to keep the sand bags over the rear axels.

Still need to do:
Load sand bags in pickup.
Attach / retro fit snow plow to tractor.

Put on sweatshirt.

Yep.

I put in a long sleeve shirt today because it was 62.

Still in shorts and flip flops.

Brought the first load home yesterday.

I heard Lewdog and all the guys in AZ got together to buy a sweater and a can of soup for the long hard winter.

I wore a sweater today cause it was 62, not a fan of the cold.

Our first snowfall is set for next week so my igloo should be coming along here soon!

Did you buy or cut that load yourself? I have about a 1/2 cord left and don't burn that much wood. Had a guy down the street that would sell a truck load for 100 bucks, but that was around 2 to 3 years ago.

I ****ed Frankie's mom yesterday, so yeah, you could say I'm ready for winter.

I drank an Old Fashioned.
