Why was it a bad move to release a $12 million dollar player that wouldn't renegotiate his contract?

Elway convinced Wes Welker to take $6 million per year. $6 million for a guy that caught more than 100 passes five years in row.

They'd agreed to re-structure it to $8 million less than an hour ago. Horseface evidently ****ed up the paperwork.

Dumervil is absolutely worth $8 mil.
