Royals are undefeated in the playoffs since 1985.
That's 29 years no one has been able to beat them in the playoffs. |

I posted that on facebook after they won the ALDS. Then I realized they are not undefeated. They are 12-6 in the post season since 1985 but 7-0 in their last 7 post season games. What drives Cardinals fans nuts is that we are the only team that has a winning record against them in the post season. At least that is what I have heard. heh |

The weather forecast this evening is pretty bad, but it has improved recently and they are starting to believe we'll get the game in.
In case anyone is wondering, by rule, playoff games ARE NOT allowed to be weather-shortened. They must go the FULL 9 innings, period. For example, if the Royals are winning in the top of the 9th and rain prevents the game from being completed tonight, they will finish that one remaining inning on another day. |
A win tomorrow and the Royals are in the top 10 of the longest postseason winning streaks. A sweep of the Orioles and we would be #3 all time.
