Usually I love their stuff, but this one I could only make through the first five minutes. Probably mostly personal bias since I loved this movie. Stopped watching about where he's complaining about Drax not understanding the hand across the throat. Obviously a culturally ignorant comment if you just think about the differences in offensive hand signals across different groups of people. Also though the "police line up cliche" comment was reaching. I can't remember a movie I've seen like that since the 80's or 90's.

Saw it on IMAX 3D after i watched it in standard projection.

Yeah, It was worth the extra.

First movie I've seen twice in theaters since TDK.

A lot of people are complaining about CinemaSins. Their videos are getting longer and longer and less and less funny. I think it means they get more ad revenue with longer videos. Seriously, their Transformers 4 video was like 40 minutes long. That channel is more "here is a plot summary of the movie" than a real critique. Seeing how terrible its sister channels are, you can see they have completely lost their way. I am close to unsubscribing.

At least with the HISHE video about Guardians, they openly admitted at the beginning that they were mostly reaching because they loved the movie. That made their video much more enjoyable.

I haven't watched a Cinema Sins video in a while, but when I saw this one was 15 minutes I did a double take. I can't imagine I'll be watching these too often in the future. They used to be awesome.

HISHE and Honest Trailers both made fun of the movie and both were hilarious. After watching them again, I feel better knowing it's not just my love of GotG coloring my judgement of Cinema Sins. :)

"Because **** you, we're Marvel. That's Why. Whadda you gonna do, watch DC?!"

Just in case anyone thought Disney would shy away from violence with Marvel...

With a massive 83,871, Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy has the most on-screen deaths of any film ever, by a long way.

Not true. TFA took out a few planets just last year. That number easily tops it, but Disney still takes home first prize.

"On Screen Deaths"

Destroying a planet, no matter how populated, doesn't count.

Quote:

A good 80,000+ of those deaths came in one scene where Nova Corp pilots have their fleet destroyed by the Dark Aster when they attempt to form a barrier between it an Xandar.

That's a stretch. Braveheart is on the list. That's on screen death. Which, I believe is a Disney movie, just under one of their distribution companies.

Does Independence Day make the list?

We can already hear you when you read this headline, as if millions of voices suddenly cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced. How in the world can Guardians of the Galaxy have the most onscreen deaths in cinematic history when we all watched Alderaan get blown to smithereens by the Death Star? Because we didn’t actually see any of those people meet their ends, not like when 80,000 Nova Corps pilots were killed trying to stop Ronan’s Dark Aster.

There they are, then they are all dead. GOTG didn't show the faces of 80,000+ people die.
