Nooo! Loved him growing up on He-Haw. My great aunt actually owned a store in Denton, TX that employed a young Buck Owens. True story.

Ironically, just a couple of weeks ago I saw the following video for the first time. I remember him obviously from Hee Haw, and knew he played guitar, but never realized he had godlike skill.

I just knew him from Hee Haw when I was a kid decades ago. He could have primarily been a comedian who happened to play an instrument for all I knew.
