ESPN Audibles talking Chiefs

Right now. Everyone, even Herm is saying that the Chiefs are going to challenge the Broncos for the AFC West this upcoming season. Herm thought we drafted well. At least we're getting some love from ESPN. Haters, it's time to hate.

Isn't this what they said last year? I mean, we're better than last year. But 8-8 is a good ceiling.

Can't wait for the Hali/Manning/Houston human oreo cookie. Inspiration for Tom Six's next movie?

ill hate, because its gonna happen. We dont have a ****ing qb, i dont know how they expect to contend. If our Defense is on par with the 9ers, then maybe.

Who would you have preferred at QB?

ChiefRocka 04-30-2013 06:29 PM

Waiting for the Russell Wilson response.

The 9ers defense took advantage of getting to play with an Alex Smith led offense.. fairly long drives, few mistakes. Our defense had to play with Cassel and our awful offense. Remove MC and both sides of our team are vastly improved.

Really wish Herm didn't like us so much...(

We have Herm to thank for most of our best players, so he's A-ok in my book. He was a terrible game day coach, but the man absolutely has an eye for talent (at least on defense).

I'm maintaining my pessimism, because there's no point in getting your hopes up. Either we'll be wonderfully surprised or we won't be fooled again. Works for me.

It's cool to be an hater on CP. There's isn't a damn thing that Dorsey could have done to make the glass half empty crowd happy. Am I ectatic to have A. Smith as QB, hell no. But, ANYBODY other than Matt Cassel is better in my eyes. Thank God that experiment is past tense and we have a physically gifted rookie QB for our staff to work with. Bray's floor is Jeff George and his ceiling is Brett Favre.

Hammock Parties 04-30-2013 06:38 PM

See?

We ****ed.

KC_Lee 04-30-2013 06:40 PM

WOO HOO!!!! IT'S GONNA BE 1995 AGAIN!!!! 13 - 3!!! HOME FIELD!!!

...and lose in the first round again due to piss poor QB play.

Chris Meck 04-30-2013 06:46 PM

I'm going to bet that Andy Reid knows what he's doing.

The Chiefs will go at least 10-6 with a wildcard playoff spot this season.

It's hard to underestimate just how bad that coaching was last season, in my opinion.
