I plan on using alot of it to fund a summer vacation.

For those of you that make under something like 56k and file normal returns, don't pay for it. You don't need too. Check out irs.gov for sites that allow you to file for free.

I think even TurboTax lets you do it for free if you are under that amount - I think...

It used to when I made less than that.

THIS, i just had a guy in here that said he was getting over 9k. he has worked all year doing home improvements. claimed he didnt make a dime...

It irritates me because I watch people get these 6k checks while my developmentally disabled brother in law makes 18k a year and pays a few hundred dollars in federal taxes. Total horseshit.
