The Borgias (Showtime series)

Series premiere on April 3rd. Who's with me?

Quote:

Over a decade in the making, The Showtime Original Series The Borgias is the sordid saga of one of the most remarkable and legendary families in history. Set in 15th century Italy at the height of the Renaissance, The Borgias chronicles the corrupt rise of patriarch Rodrigo Borgia (Academy AwardŽ winner Jeremy Irons) to the papacy, where he proceeds to commit every sin in the book to amass and retain power, influence and enormous wealth for himself and his family. The unbounded audacity of this original crime family went on to inspire Machiavelli's The Prince and Mario Puzo's The Godfather. Don't miss a minute of the lavish, sexy, scandalous drama from the creative mind of Academy AwardŽ winner Neil Jordan.

I will watch the premiere, mainly because I like Jeremy Irons. I am more excited about Game of Thrones on HBO and Camelot on Starz, though.

Well! Who watched it? I watched it! Who else watched it?

I recorded it, but have only watched bits and pieces, looks pretty good...but with Jeremy Irons, it is tough to go wrong.

It was pretty cool, I wonder how many time skips that they'll have for this series compared to The Tudors

Pretentious and droll. I'm hoping for more.

I'll give it a shot.

Mrs. FMB! and I are watching and enjoying. We're also caught up on Starz's Camelot, and have Game of Thrones set to DVR.

Incest is best

Still on? They just added a season to Netflix. It's been in my queue, but I've just not had the inclination to watch yet.

Pasta Little Brioni 05-09-2013 07:45 AM

Yeah, it's pretty good.
