The Academy declares the nominations for the 2012 Chiefs Planet Most Valuable Poster are open.

The criteria is that the poster posted on Chiefs Planet between Jan.1 and Dec. 31st 2012.

The Academy will make no attempt to identify the qualities that make the poster the MVP for 2012. That is for each individual to decide and nominate if they deem a member of the community worthy of the 2012 MVP award.

Is it being funny? Football knowledge? Great member of the community in general? Your opinion. Your decision.

The Academy will compile the nominations and make a public poll. Only those with multiple nominations will be included in the poll. The member receiving the most votes in the final poll is crowned the 2011 Chiefs Planet MVP!

My vote goes SNR. The guys sense of humor is one of the best. Great poster. CP should be lucky to have this kat as a member. SNR all the way.

We have never went down the bribes path with the MVP. It's always been a more earnest popularity contest.

But, its still in its infancy. If that's the direction the Planet wants to take it, I would not stand in the way.

Sure, there are a host of other integral members of the CP community, but no one comes close to pr's contribution in the last calendar year.

Well I was being not serious in a respectful way.

I tend to think I am both funny and have a vast football knowledge. I rarely share those things with CP, and I cant post at the insane rates some people can, and don't want too. KC Tattoo nominated me becuase I spawned a CP meme, and lots of people had fun at my expense. I was a good sport and didn't cry like most people, therefore fueling good will in my direction. Nothing else.

In all honesty I don't deserve to be nominated, and am just messing about~

Duncan Idaho is great on the Royals.

But PR Capone essentially fathered the SOC along with Marty, so by far he is the most deserving this year. It really put the CP on the map, and everything has been handled with style since the beginning. The movement has been firm, fair, and most of all tolerant and understanding in light of events in the last week.

PR Capone deserves it.

And there's many posters here on the CP that I enjoy reading very much.
There is no better group of Chiefs fans.
