Live broadcast over YouTube tomorrow. Anybody have any early news on this? Will it be available all over the Metro? How long will the waiting list be?

Anybody know anything? I'm impatient.

So...when's it coming to Colorado? :)

Mr. Laz 07-25-2012 08:20 PM

they seem to be starting in a section of town that isn't very high dollar ... i wonder how many people will sign up.

When are they getting to Olathe

ReynardMuldrake 07-25-2012 09:36 PM

Just based on all the research they did in the area, I'm pretty sure it's just going to be just KCMO and KCK to start. I really hope we don't have to wait too long before they expand their coverage area.

My understanding is that it will be KCK, and then KCPL customers, since they are using KCPL's infastructure (power poles, etc.) to run parts of the network. So if you are a KCPL customer, you should be good.

I cannot wait. This is going to be awesome.

It would be nice, but I doubt it. If you look at the research they did, I can't see them deploying it somewhere that's not on their map.

Hopefully they will start to expand soon though.
