Weird situation
I'm starting the Pit D against the Chiefs (for obvious reasons)
I have to choose between starting Bowe, or Mike Williams from the Bucs. The guy I'm playing is starting Freeman at QB. In that situation, who do you start? |
Williams.
Pretty sure he's higher ranked this season. I traded away Bowe because I had Williams on my bench. He's been my most solid player every week since then. |
yeah, williams is obvious.

I don’t think I’ve ever picked my players based on who my opponent has.

I have a feeling these only have the illusion of affecting eachother – like flipping a coin, getting heads 5 times in a row, and thinking the next flip MUST be tails, when in reality the chances are still 50/50. |
@ sedated.
I agree with your assessment but I guess to my twisted way of thinking, a QB is normally one of the higher scoring guys on your fantasy roster. If he has a crappy game and my WR does as well, I'm going to end up coming out ahead. It may not make any real sense, it's just something I've seen work more often than not. Don't mistake what I'm saying, I'm not benching Calvin Johnson to start Baldwin just because my opponent is starting Cassel, but if I have 2 like WRs, I'll try to protect my lineup knowing that any TDs his QB throws have a great likelihood of also scoring for me. |
