I do think it's interesting that this new regime has gotten rid of the starting tackles on this team so quickly.

Please tell me there's at least a slight chance they go Jordan at 1.1 and take a tackle in the 2nd?

I'm also just shocked that Albert performed well in a contract year.

He performed well two years in a row.

The justification for this move is sickening.

What's dramatic about it?

What I posted is just as stupid as what it appears Reid and Dorsey are about to do.

ROFL Yeah, he just sucked in the years prior

ILChief 04-17-2013 06:23 PM

So all you Jordan fans, are you sitting Hali or Houston? Both of which are better at their position than Albert is at his

I still wonder what was up with Winston. It wasn't just p, he's too expensive or wasn't good enough. There was something to that release.

Dramatic reactions to this are appropriate.

We are flushing the #1 pick in the draft down the toilet.

THIS IS A TRAGEDY OF PIOLIAN PROPORTIONS

I wish I had the time to go back and watch every sack that was credited against him. I'd bet anything that a decent number should have been charged to our shitty QB's.

Amazing how undervalued this guy is by some folks.

Messier 04-17-2013 06:24 PM

I think it calls for a boycott.

Trade Hali for a 5th.

That seems about right.

I don't disagree. I think this is a mistake.

I would find a way to pay Albert. I do think a compromise could have been reached.

It's also putting a shit ton of pressure on whatever tackle we bring in, Joeckel or Fisher. If he flames out, we are seriously ****ed.

Just saw a mortgage commercial on TV.

This is like refinancing your mortgage to save $50 a month but paying $6,000 in closing costs.

We're getting younger and cheaper, but not any better, and we're paying a metric ****ton to do it.

Nope. I think at that point I would be done.

Stephenson is a quality backup.
