Heres my take....whats yours?

Do you consider guys like Schaub, Cutler, Rivers, Romo, etc.... "Franchise QBs" ? (Basically all the guys in the Good but not yet great tier)

I at least have him LAST on that list.

I'd most certainly take Kolb over Kasl right now.

I can see it being Flacco and Matt Ryan in the Super Bowl this year.

OP has Stafford in two categories. So do you think he is in the "good" or the "jury is still out section?" Personally I would put him in the "jury" section. He can't stay healthy and is capable of lots of interceptions.

I don't know why Freeman wouldn't be in the "jury still out but has upside" group.

My honest take.

Homers wish Cassel was 5th tier.

He's in some kind of purgatory between the 5th tier and the 7th tier.

In all honesty, I think good ole Matt is regressing in a big way with the Huard fetal concerning the passrush.

He played better football last year.

Phantom sack was fun though.

He can't say he protects the ball well anymore either with his constant INTs and fumbles during games.

Then there's everyone else.

Who gives a shit how anyone ranks them. We know Cassel sucks.

P. Manning isn't even a 2nd tier guy anymore. He has no velocity on his ball and he's made horrible decisions.

Not just some off target throws - HORRIBLE DECISIONS...

yea, i fixed that. I put him in the "good but not yet great" category, but it could go either way with him honestly.

Anyways, i didnt realize it until i compiled the list, but i would take any other teams QBs over ours right now. Any of the 31.

Not saying we would win a championship with guys like Sanchez or Freeman a rookie QB, etc...., but at least those guys are younger and have better arms.

I stop caring after Brady, Rodgers, Brees, E. Manning, Roethlisberger, Flacco, Ryan, and Rivers.

The rest either haven't been in the league long enough (Newton, Luck, RG3), haven't shown anything since they've been in the league (Freeman, Bradford), or can't stay on the field (Schaub, Stafford).

Romo looked good a couple weeks ago. Cassel looked bad every week. That is all I got for ya.

Maybe a category with "ascending," "there" and "descending" might be appropriate as well. "There" meaning they have reached their ceiling or close to it.

Boom Ch Ka got one of them right and Matt Ryan sure could have made it too. They both have elite qualities.

I like Ryan alot, but he doesnt have elite arm strength on his deep balls. His recievers sort of have to hold up and wait for them to drop at times.

Brady, Brees, P. Manning, Rodgers elite.


Bunch of guys that are good enough, but need other guys around them.

Matt Ryan is pretty overrated actually.

Why do you not consider Roethlisberger, Flacco and E. Manning elite?

For now, Ryan is basically a younger version of Matt Schaub.

Eli is far from Elite this year with 15 sacks and 5 fumbles.

No. Definitely not Eli. He was always mediocre, IMO, and this season is down right horrible.

Hes is without a doubt, the hardest guy to rank. 2 titles though, and still has alot of years left to play.
