And that would be a huge waste of a 1st round pick. You can get a later round QB and do that. Or take a QB sometime in the next two years.

Soooo pretty much, as long as the Chiefs draft geno, then the alex smith thing is cool?

Pretty much or if they thought another QB was worthy of a 1st round pick then that would be cool as well.

If he is drafted by the chiefs this year, he will be the 3rd string qb behind alex and chase.

He will be the 2nd stringer. Chase would be 3rd.

Reid benched Vick when he signed a 100 million dollar contract. So whose to say if Geno is better than Alex than Geno will start.

We also created holes by cutting Winston and Albert having 1 foot out the door.

Well, lets be honest. He benched Michael Vick because Vick got hurt, and the upper management made him start Foles. He never waivered from Vick. He knew he was out because Jeff Laurie had stated before the season that 8-8 wasn't going to be good enough for Andy to keep his job.

It would be a MILD surprise if Geno beat out Alex, or Chase Daniel this year. There is a TON to learn in the West Coast offense. Lots of verbage. Even Mike Holmgren said that most qbs cant learn it in one year.

Maybe not. We drafted two tackles last year in the 2nd and 3rd we just happened to move a good tackle to guard.

Deep draft at oline. And if you went and drafted a qb in the first, you have would grab a tackle in the 3rd id imagine, and keep Albert for certain......

No, Geno would be third to start the year at least. I'm sure Reid would love to just have Geno sit for a year or two and learn.

Huh?

I was under the impression there were only 3 tackles worth a damn and all will be gone by pick 20.

Yes most. But Geno is a hard worker. Mort said they gave Geno a playbook of 100 pages full of NFL plays and he remembered all of them.

No he wouldn't. That's why they aren't drafting him.

Left tackles sure. But in that scenario you would still have Albert, and right tackles can be found in the 3rd........
