KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Chiefs coach Andy Reid says his team experienced problems with their headsets during Saturday’s playoff loss in New England, though they worked fine in the crucial final minutes of the game.

Reid said the problem occurred in the first half between the coaching staff and the radio in quarterback Alex Smith’s helmet.

But Reid said they cut out "just a little bit, not much," and did not think that they were anything out of the ordinary.

It’s not the first time that headsets had trouble at Gillette Stadium.

In the regular-season opener, Pittsburgh complained the coaches' headsets were filled with the Patriots' radio broadcast of the game. Steelers coach Mike Tomlin later said his coaches have had problems with headsets every time they play at New England.

The Patriots beat the Chiefs 27-20 on Saturday.

I'm experiencing problems caring.

chiefzilla1501 01-17-2016 05:36 PM

I wish it would have cut off in the final quarter. So we could maybe use some ****ing no huddle for a change.

TLO 01-17-2016 05:37 PM

Ok

loochy 01-17-2016 05:39 PM

Suuuuuuuuure they did

Chief Northman 01-17-2016 05:39 PM

Why even bring this up if that last hair pulling "hurry up" offense was not affected?
Go the college route and make those cute signs like Oregon to send in personnel and plays....

Patriots should die in an AIDS bonfire

They cause headset interference
They pull fire alarms to get a peek at the game plan documents during evacuation
They deflate balls
They report as ineligible
They take cheap shots when backed up to the goal line
Dirty bastards

Cheaters never win unless they are from New England

Rasputin 01-17-2016 05:50 PM

Did they try to deliver a message to the kicker not to kick the damn ball to Gronkowski? I mean the best hands player for the Patriots and on the football field. Not that would have changed the outcome of the game but **** you Andy Reid.

Andy also reported that a person was dressed up as a large fern in the locker room taking notes and talking on a walkie-talkie in a Bostonian accent.

At least say it happened during the final 5 minutes of the game dummy

After Krafts buddy isn't comish, and BB, and Brady are gone. So, don't hold your breath.

Hog's Gone Fishin 01-17-2016 06:59 PM

So did that cause Knile to fumble and S Smith to drop a pick 6 ?

Chiefaholic 01-17-2016 07:30 PM

To beat a healthy patriot team, we had to play mistake free football and get at least a couple turnovers in our favor. We did neither..... The Davis fumble and inability to score after the big punt return are the two primary reasons we weren't in it till the end. BB called the perfect offensive scheme to play against our defensive strength (Losing Houston didn't help).

Bugeater 01-17-2016 07:49 PM

Well of course they did. It's well known that this goes on it's his ****ing fault if he's not prepared for it.
