Let’s say one of the two situations happen.

1. Brady retires this offseason.

2. Brady & Big Ben retire this offseason.

Under either circumstance, do you keep Alex Smith for his final year instead of trading hm?

Sassy Squatch 01-05-2018 08:19 PM

That's 2 more teams who need a QB. Sell high.

pugsnotdrugs19 01-05-2018 10:07 PM

Not a chance. Get Mahomes rolling, he can be the next guy on top of the AFC.

I honestly believe our SB odds will be just as good when he starts next year.

Bewbies 01-05-2018 10:59 PM

Mahomes having a next season ending injury. That’s it.

**** NO.

This is even more incentive to trade Alex, get draft pick(s), and open up cap space.

Mahomes has shown he can handle the offense, we can use the picks and cash to shore up the defense.

1. No
2. No

No

Guys, I know it’s scary to go into the unknown

But no, alex won’t be back next year. Barring a great run in the playoffs that is.

But they’ve got a great coaching staff and a great talent to teach. Let it happen

Black Bob 01-06-2018 10:56 AM

I don't think we will trade him no matter what happens.

They should. It’s over.

After that shit ass second half performance---Hell ****ing No!

nbarone007 01-06-2018 11:20 PM

Alex had a solid season but it would be lunacy to expect him to repeat his performance again in 2018.

I have no doubt that Mahomes can go out and reach >4000 yards >20 TDs with guys like Hill, Hunt, Kelce, etc...

Trade Smith for the much needed picks and draft guys that can rush the passer. The front seven is hot garbage outside of Jones, Ragland, and Houston.

Then your kidding yourself.

LMAO

I was wondering when this narrative would arrive.
