I played a Disciple (Best class ever) under this name and was in Blades of Wrath.

In fact; I just re-installed VG and have been running around for nostalgia purposes the last few days. It's free to play.

Nah I was in a different guild altogether. I just recognized his toon's name from this board KCXIV. I think I barely made it to 50 before I left the game. It was right around the time that Sony took over and said they will keep the game up and running but would never do more with it.

Disciple was awesome, the other healer that was a Bloodmage or something that would steal body parts from the mobs to heal you. I loved the tank classes, and I particularly loved the Psionicists. I love doing crowd control, which is part of the reason that I don't like a lot of MMO's now. There is no challenge, it's just walk into a room, AE, AE, AE, walk to the next room. rinse, repeat. Also, bard was a lot of fun, it was great being able to mix and match the different portions of the songs that you play.

The Total War games are much more than RTS. Imagine a turn-based nation-building game like Civilization that actually let's you play the battles out with thousands of well-animated units. It's a game with a ton of strategy but also tactics. They are all set in very accurately portrayed historic periods too.

You really owe it to yourself to go buy one of them on the cheap and play the crap out of it.

Pick and era that most interests you and go immerse yourself.

While it doesn't have the awesome battle strategy of the Total War games, if you do like RTS, I would also recommend Anno 2070. Really a complicated, great game. I have dumped about 230 hours into over the last month, and still have so much to do.

I played Anno 1404. It was a great game (but difficult towards the later stages). I will try 2070 for sure. Thanks, man.

Probably all the Maddens from 02-07. Then Halo 2 and Halo 3... Halo 2 easily if they never would have made another. MW2 and Black Ops closed the gap... And I kinda got out of gaming until Skyrim.

WoW has to be number one for me.

2nd would be Golden Tee Golf. I used to win so much money from that game that I would get 1099s and have to pay taxes on it.

Borderlands 2.

The constant quest for kickass loot keeps me coming back. Trying to get that rare gun with all the specific parts youre looking for is a huge time sink, but supremely satisfying when it actually drops.

Not sure but I would imagine Diablo 2 and WoW are up there... Blizzard used to make great games. Hopefully "Titan" is better than their latest releases since being bank rolled by Activision.

The original Call of Duty. Played that competitively throughout highschool. Don't even want to know how many hours I logged in that game. Quit playing after the 2nd one came out because they're all shit in comparison and they get maybe 3-4 patches before they are dumped for the next years version.

There have been multiple CoD's set in WW2.

Original CoD as in the very first one. The one where it required more than mouse 1 and a "W" key to be good at...

http://gamethu.vnexpress.net/Files/S...3A/64/CoD1.jpg

That game was awesome.

Then CoD2 came out and it all went down hill. They reduced the recoil a crazy amount. I remember the first time I shot a MP44 in CoD2 and it was like I was shooting a MP40 or some shit from CoD1, actually think the MP40 from CoD1 had MORE recoil, it was ridiculous. They also reduced the map sizes so you started dying 5 seconds in rounds from nades being thrown from spawn to spawn. It was a terrible game to play competitively and myself and the team I was with quit playing after about 2 weeks.

Tried CoD:MW or w/e and it was the same shit. Haven't bought one since.

Their single player campaigns are pretty cool but they are about 15 mins long. I'm not even a hardcore 14 hour a day gamer and I can beat their campaigns in 1 sitting. Wasn't worth the 60 dollars every year to me.

Can ChiefsPlanet be considered a game? If so, ChiefsPlanet wins running away.

Not gonna count MMOs because that's lame, so Phantasy Star Online.

I was not a big fan of these games, the camera angles and such really annoyed me to no end.
