Beer Kitchen has one of the best burgers I've had ever. Amazing. Their burgers are made from McGonigle's custom blend of beef brisket, short rib & chuck tenderloin.

There's also another great burger joint on US 40 about a half mile east of the Blue Ridge Wal Mart called Big Boy Burger. Been there since early 1960's. They also have big tasty burgers and onion rings that won't break your teeth.

Wasn't Big Boy Burger some kind of regional chain (or, more likely, franchise operation) back in the 1960's? For example, I remember a couple of "Kips Big Boy" restaurants back then in Wichita. Not sure if it's the same thing or not, but it seemed like the name "Big Boy" was a pretty popular destination back in the day.

Trainwreck has awesome burgers - grassfed and also buffalo.

then there's King Louie's and Fast Eddie's in IL, plus you can get Tha Luther over at the baseball park in Sauget.

There's actually a decent BBQ place in St Charles called Hendrick's BBQ, pretty good portions at a reasonable price too. Usually everything out thre is expensive.
