Lone wolf is a quality poster. Thought he would be higher.

I definitely have no shot at this list.

I tried to watch DS9, but it's just not interesting. None of the Trek series have had the compelling characters that TNG had.

There are no creepy niner/brown/chief fans on the list. Not saying you are creepy, but your fan dom is.

Not at all. I didn't watch a single regular season game of the niners last year. But, then again, you wouldn't believe me, because you have been nothing but a douche to me, so really, what's the point? How about this instead.

I was a browns fan with my grandpa since Bernie, Webster slaughter, and clay matthews the second were around. I was sitting in his lap eating tortilla chips at the local browns backers club the day the drive happened. I was exiled for supporting alex Smith, so I chose to bring my fandom with him. Agreed. He mentioned Clay only being accepted because he's like family. He may be right in a sense. I like Clay and his posts, so this doesn't apply for me....but, I know a lot of folks don't care for Clay's antics or posting styles, but the guy is accepted because he's a Chiefs fan. He's accepted because he's been part of the struggle since he was a kid, just like most of us. We understand each other, and understand what we've all been through as fans of this pitiful ****ing franchise for all of our lives.

Sometimes I wish I could be the type of guy that switches teams as if they were underwear like that Mav dude does...but I cant. I'm stuck to this pitiful franchise for life. It doesn't end when Alex Smith leaves. It obviously doesn't end when they suck.

Look at Hootie for example. The dude was in ****ing Indy. He watched that ****ing heartbreaking moment live(like others did as well), and afterwards was in the parking lot shedding his Chiefs gear and claiming freedom from this ****ing curse of a franchise. But look where Hootie is now.

That's all of us. We all live through heartbreak most of our lives because of this ****ing team.

And that's why it's a little annoying to see some douchebag come rolling over from being a Niner fan, claiming to be a Browns fan, and sporting a ****ing chiefs avatar, with dried up Alex Smith jizz in his mustache. **** that guy.

I take a tremendous amount of offense to bandwagon fans. They aren't real fans, and they can go **** themselves.

If the Chiefs ever win a Super Bowl (big if), at least we can all say we deserved it. That's why I pulled for the Red Sox 11 years ago (****ing hate them now)...

Let's put it this way...the Chiefs winning the big one will mean a hell of a lot more to all of us than the Steelers, or Broncos (etc) winning a Super Bowl.

And I can't trade that for anything.

Definite truth. Last time I missed a game was 2002 when I was going through Basic training.

I drive 13 hours to KC and 13 hours back from KC in a weekend at least once a year for a game or training camp. I've taken this team way too seriously since I was about 10 years old. I can't even talk trash to other football fans because I don't know any that take it as seriously as I do. I know that when I say something to them it doesn't cut bear as deep as them saying the same thing back to me would.

TimBone 08-04-2014 08:32 PM

after the playoff loss I realized how unhealthy the level of my obsession for this team was

I'm really trying to take it easier this year. It became so unhealthy I didn't even enjoy watching the games...I was nervous/angry/on the verge of a breakdown each and every snap.

I was making it my entire life. I don't even understand how it got so bad.

I am a miserable ****ing prick every time the Cardinals are in the postseason. The games are so damned stressful with so much lag time in between the action it's like being put on the rack.

When they got blown out against the Giants in Game 7 of the 2012 NLCS, I just slept through the game. I was at the point where I just couldn't care anymore. I just wanted it to be over.

Hootie 08-04-2014 08:39 PM

my roommate in Dallas was an absolute diehard Cardinals fan and I just couldn't watch the games with him...everything was LaRussa's fault...he was just a miserable prick. After David Freese went hero-mode against Texas..twice...and then the Cards won game 7 I refused to watch the game with him...he got wasted...picked a fight with all the Rangers fan in our complex (we lived in Dallas)...and then proceeded to go to the bar, pick a fight with everyone there, and then get banned from the bar for the rest of his life.

I think he's 35% of the reason I ****ing hate Cardinals fans lmao

I no longer live or die with each game.

It's entertainment that I enjoy.

I've just recently been able to talk about that game with others outside of this forum. When I was telling the guys at work about how early I realized it was over, they were amazed. ****ing sucks.

I think he's 35% of the reason I ****ing hate Cardinals fans lmao

I do not troll other teams during games. Ever. I am way too much of a pessimist to ever do it. I feel like as soon as I say something positive or hopeful an asteroid will wipe the ****ing stadium out.
