New York Giants Select:
CB, Blidi Wreh-Wilson, UConn |
Sorry I took the 12 hours guys. Didn't get home until 25 minutes ago.
|
PM sent.
|
No problem nj
|
With the 50th selection, the Chicago Bears select: MLB, Manti Te'o, Notre Dame
Te'o will immediately step in and attempt to fill the void left by Brian Urlacher once he has departed. Like Kevin Minter in Baltimore, Te'o will have large shoes to fill that will undoubtedly be impossible to match. But Te'o should fit extremely well in Chicago. His coverage skills and instincts are the best in this class from the linebacker position. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/DJfkFuJDPd4" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> |
Not sure why, but I can't PM putquinnin.

Washington Redskins

Vikings and SF have agreed on a trade of #52 overall for #61 plus 5.31 and 6.31.
|
San Francisco times up
Bengals are on the clock |
So we are waiting till sf picks both picks have till 7 :07 am then dolphins are on the clock
|
The San Francisco 49ers: Jonathan Cyprien, S, Florida International
Niners move up to get a 1st round talent |
The Bengals select Eric Reid S L.S.U.
RB was a consideration here but I have Reid and Elam rated higher than the remaining backs Elam takes too many chances, height is also a concern |
Miami dolphins select
WR Justin Hunter Tennessee |
Pmd next person
|
At the pace we are going, might not need to stop to add comp picks.
|
The Green Bay Packers select....RB Montee Ball Wisconsin
|
2.56 The Seattle Seahawks select Matt Elam, SS, Florida
A big, physical safety that will be paired with Earl Thomas, we love that he's here at 56. He can step up in the box and make his physical presence felt and is not afraid to go up against bigger WRs and come down with the ball. Can someone PM next? On my phone. |

Damn felt like I shouldda traded up for elam.
|
with pick 57 of the draft the Houston Texans pick....
DT Brandon Williams Mo Southern Not the prototypical sized NT for Wade Phillips, but its the type of guy that succeeds in his defense. High motor, strong at the point of attack, explosive, the type of guy that Phillips gets the most out of. So close to taking the higher profile Jenkins.... but since Elam is gone. Good fit for a guy rising up on draft boards. |
PM sent to Argo, hope I dont catch anything.

Bacarri Raaambo, safety out of Georgia to the Denver broncos. Solid fit imo, if he can handle off the field issues. Good locker room for him to be drafted into.
|
2.59 The New England Patriots select Terron Armstead, OT, Ark Pine Bluff
Speed and athleticism have pushed this guy from a definite day two pick to a possible day one pick. The Pats sign and groom a very talented player, here. |
2.60 The Atlanta Falcons select Gavin Escobar, TE, San Diego STate
While Tony G may come back, this is the heir apparrant when he does decide to hang it up. Some sites have Escobar on par with Ertz and Eifert, so the bottom of round two seems like good value, here. |

Ok Vikings are on the clock till 7:56 AM the the final pick of second round the world champion Baltimore Ravens to finish out second round then we will suspend it till comp picks are reported starting third round at 12 am that next day.
Thank you everyone who has been on top of this. |
Just voicing my opinion. Just mine.
I don't like the idea of suspending it. |
I agree just we may or may not have the comp picks by the time the person picks. I say this
Let's do this let's finish the third round and then suspend if comp picks haven't been given out yet. |
Ok Baltimore is on the clock
Remember to pm next person guys |

Dammit, no PM from anybody.
Anyways. With the last pick of the 2nd round the Baltimore Ravens select: FS, Philip Thomas, Fresno State With Ed Reed either leaving the team or nearing retirement, the Ravens find themselves in position to snag a solid safety for the future of the franchise. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/u7R24OSpXVI" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> |
Executive decision
We are doing 3rd round we will suspend it if we finish third round before comp picks are given out. Chiefs are on clock starting now 11:15 am to 11:15 pm |

Quote:

yeah ... was kind of hoping this wouldnt happen until deeper into the draft....but bright side is there wont be any reason to wait for the comp pick... and the Vikes will still be on the clock.
|
Does Junkie think the draft is suspended? It did seem like we were going to wait for the comp picks. Maybe he never saw that we decided to keep going.

The Steelers should have taken Rhodes instead of Trufant.
|
So sorry, guys. Got out of sorts.
The Jaguars, after trying to trade and missing their deadline, select TRAVIS FREDERICK, C, WISCONSIN. We have a 35 year old UFA at center and need to get younger. However, we in Jacksonville are stupid and draft a power blocking guy for a zone blocking scheme. He doesn't fit what the coaches want to do, but let's be real - these assholes are going to be fired in a year or two anyway. |
With the 66th pick of the 2013 NFL draft the Oakland Raiders select;
Robert Alford, CB from Southeast Louisiana. With the earlier push for CBs I'm surprised this speedy corner was looked over. But fills a pressing need (punny?) for the raiders and good value in the third round. |
Pm sent

With the third round pick the Philadelphia Eagles select
ILB Jonathan Bostic Florida Eagles pair him with demeco Ryan's to form a solid one two punch. Surprised he lasted this long eagles are excited to add him to the team. Browns are on the clock as of 10:39 am. On till 10:39 pm |
Browns take TE Travis Kelce.
