I've heard the season is over for us. What's the point?

Cole Hamels is trying to bump his trade value by throwing a no-hitter through 6. About to start the 7th in Chicago.

If the Royals could make the money work, that's the guy I'd like to have, to anchor the rotation for the next couple of years.

Yeah no kidding. He's got the no hitter through 8 innings now. CF made a great catch on the track, then Hamels snared a hit back up the middle... defense saving the day. He's at 112 pitches.

Glad Perez is back tonight think Royals really missed him last night.

Duff changing speeds well and locating his off-speed pitches in the first. Have to keep these guys off-balanced if you're going to be pitching to contact. His fastball also seems to have a bit extra on it compared to his last couple of outings to start, don't remember him ever being much over 94 since he came back from rehab.
