I guess not exactly ripped it off, but Louis went on right before Denis and Denis liked the bit so much he ran with it during his set....then made a song and pretty much a successful career out of it and Louis stopped doing that bit since someone else used it.

Why does he keep making jokes about a Midwestern NFL team that most people in this country could give a damn about? LA is the joke of the NFL; second largest city in America doesn't even have ONE team.

You got that right. We're a league-wide joke. I was watching Inside the NFL and they were showing the Chiefs / Chargers highlights and the Charger players were mocking Cassel as he was on the sidelines before the last drive and saying, "Hey Cassel, we need a turnover." The rest is history...

We're the butt of late night jokes now. Awesome.

Hell I don't even care for Conan most of the time. He's better than Letterman or Leno or any of the other late night goons, but I still don't make it a point to ever watch his show.
