I got trampled by a horse when I was in fourth grade, it caused me to panic around horses, llamas, and probably large dogs for about two years.

I was forced to go horseback riding in Colorado in sixth grade, and I've been okay since that time.

Then you should avoid my cock. That's not me talking, that's science.

BoneKrusher 11-13-2012 05:34 PM

i hope Berry gets an int or two when we play Denver, if he does they'll never catch him.

Horses will kill ya man. Those ****ers can get crazy.

Frazod 11-13-2012 06:17 PM

I got bit in the face by a horse when I was four and thrown by a horse (some prick lit off a pack of firecrackers behind the horse, the horse went HI O SILVER and I wasn't the Lone Ranger) when I was ten. I've ridden a couple of times since, have never enjoyed it, and am always sore as hell afterward.

I'm not afraid of them, but I'm not a fan.

This clears up why he bought a Camaro with his signing bonus instead of a Mustang.

Not a fan of horses either. And they've become pretty much useless since the invention of the internal combustion engine anyway.

That made me laugh.

Family grew up with horses, some as well as friends did high-level eventing, dressage, cross-country, etc.

I ****ing dislike horses. I loathed having to care for them, their bites, kicks, stomping on feet, and other unruly behaviors. Personally, I wanted to name one of them Elmer.

"Aw hell naw" is such a black person phrase, if there ever were such a thing..

Seriously. Has a white person ever successfully pulled off an "Aw hell naw!"?

Horses are good at keeping teenaged girls and rich women occupied.

So I was at a dinner tonight where Eric Berry was the speaker. The format was that the local sportscasters sat down with him at a table and interviewed him. Sure enough, the interviewer asked him about his fear of horse.

EB: "Man, we agreed we weren't going to talk about this."

EB: "I was maybe 4 or 5 years old when a horse bit me on the shoulder."

Interviewer: "I heard it was a pony"

EB: "Actually, it was a unicorn".

EB: "My rookie year, I was on special teams and I had it worked out with the coach that I wouldn't come onto the field until Warpaint was up in the tunnel. I was always the last player to come on the field.

EB: "Then when in my 3rd year I wasn't on the kickoff team anymore and kinda forgot about it. Except we scored a touchdown late in the game and we had an onside kick called. I started going out on the field and that horse was out there. So I broke huddle and went back to the sideline and said coach you can tell me the play from over here and I'll remember it from practice, cause I'm not going out there with that horse on the field."

Hilarious.

He's a solid guy. Says that he lost almost all of the experience he gained during his rookie year by sitting out a year with the injury. Said he just started getting things figured out again at the end of 2012. He's a very detail oriented, goal-driven player. I expect great things.

Deserving of a bump.

Good story.
