Tell me about your 2014 Mazda3

I entered the small sedan market convinced I was going to buy a new Honda Civic, but after reading so many good reviews, test drives and comparisons to other cars in its class, I'm giving serious consideration to Mazda3 as my next daily driver. One thing I've noticed where I live is that there are surprisingly very few new models on roads here. Of course, compared to other Japanese makes, Mazda will only make up a small fraction of what you see on the roads.

If I was going to buy a small car, it would be the Mazda 3..

It's my next car too. Waiting until my current car craps out though.

It's the best car I never owned.

I looked at them when I bought my VW GTI. Cute little car but the metal on the car was so thin. I give all cars an ass bump test to close the door. If the metal pops in and out, I consider it to be flimsy and a sign of the overall quality of the vehicle. It they're gonna allow something that visible, imagine what the interior bolts are made of.

It wasn't as bad as the Ford Focus though. That thing is a tin can.

lol, I hope not. It's not as tight as it used to be.

I may have a strange way of deciphering quality in cars I guess. But it's also a sign of how some cars get better mileage than they should. The car is simply light.

mine is the sound of the door shutting.

You can tell if a car is solid by the sound it makes when the door gets shut

Does anyone have a problem with their ac in the new Mazda?

hometeam 08-03-2014 09:15 AM

Buy a Focus. For those of you Driving a 12 or newer Mazda3, you ARE driving a Focus. They have since moved apart but still share some parts. Previously they are like 90% the same~

Also please contact me when you are ready to buy a Focus :D

Had a 2007 Mazda 3, just sold it a few months ago. It was a great car, and really speedy. I wouldn't say fast, but definitely quick.

I had a 2012 Mazda 3. Only two knocks against it. Road noise was a little loud and the AC struggled when you were at a stand still. Other than that, I loved it. I never got lower than 29 MPG driving a city/freeway mix.
