HTisbbq is right that Josey Jewell is a good player and I hated that he went to Denver, but Niemann can play ball. He'll help the Chiefs.

Nieman needs an offseason to bulk up, but he just seems to always be in the right spot.

Theres value there.

He's not small or undersized, dude - he's an inch shorter than Luke Kuechly and outweighs him by 1 lb. That's plenty of size to be effective at that position.

Simply Red 10-01-2018 02:59 PM

Ray Lewis and Patrick Willis were both 6' 1" and 240

Niemann is 6' 2" 236
Kuechly is 6' 3" 235

I admit he looks a lot smaller than those guys but I think it may just be an illusion. If that's his height and weight then good news he has room to build on that frame.

I'd like to see all three get a lot of rotational snaps for sure.

Simply Red 10-01-2018 03:05 PM

the team site has him as 6' 3" 233 - weird. I pulled my first# from NFL.com

Now that Eric Reid and Earl Thomas and Bashaud Breeland are no longer options the best we can hope for is one of those guys becomes something.

The video above was only one of about 3 or 4 splash plays this Caucasian had in pre-season.

Hey man I'm in. Whether he's 6'2 or 6'3 whatever, if he's about 240 and runs a 4.6 AND he's a playmaker...

why the hell was this guy not drafted? I'm hoping he's a diamond.

Because I like how Ragland hits but that guy can NOT cover.

nychief 10-01-2018 03:10 PM

wow... from earl thomas to Ben Iowawhiteguy... we have a new savior.

Give Reg until NE game - he'll get caught up. He is too talented - watched RR a lot in college - he's got the goods - he's literally half a camp behind.
