The biggest plot hole was if Kruger can be resurrected while his head was blown off, why couldn't Matt Damon come back from the dead?

I don't 100% quite that either, but Blomkamp made a cop out. I think there was some process that would have kept Max alive, but would have taken a long time, which is what Foster's character opted against. The option she opted for, and what Spider did, is what killed him. Like I said, I don't understand it either, but it's Blomkamp's cop out.

I thought some of the slow mo was not needed. Didn't like how they skipped from Max being knocked out cold to him being strapped to the table. Granted, I realize it isn't a huge deal, but even a 1 minute ****ing scene of him being taken there would have been appreciated. IMO, the movie could have been enhanced with more background of Elysium being created. Lastly, Max should have been weaker, even with the exoskeleton on. It didn't prevent him from a decline in his physical state. And it's ****ing bullshit that he was popping pills and still looked normal, even after the accident.
